Practice Manager & Registered Nurse

Laura is energetic, positive and upbeat, she is passionate about her role as Practice Manager and loves keeping our surgeons and team organized. Having worked with both Dr Rieger and Dr Ciccocioppo as a Registered Nurse at Calvary Hospital, Laura took the leap and moved into the role of Practice Manager at Adelaide Colorectal in 2021. Her professionalism and genuine care for everyone makes patients and their families feel comfortable, cared for and understood.

Laura graduated from Flinders University in 2011, she completed her graduate nursing year at Flinders Medical Centre after which she moved to the private sector, working at both Calvary Wakefield and Calvary North Adelaide Hospital.  For over nine years she worked in the Day Procedure & Endoscopy suite as Clinical Nurse. During her time at Calvary Laura gained experience working in the position of relieving Hospital Coordinator, Recovery and Pre-Admission Nurse.  Laura enjoys studying and developing her knowledge, since starting with Adelaide Colorectal & General Surgery in 2021 she has completed her Diploma of Practice Management.

What we do know is she was born to be busy. . . When not at work, Laura amazingly juggles her social life, dedicates countless hours to coaching calisthenics, sewing and decorating costumes and most importantly spending quality time with her husband, three adorable daughters and their beloved Labradoodles.
